Shasta-Trinity National Forest

This is a hike that probably requires a fair amount of training before taking it on. There is a fair elevation gain, steep terrain, and is at least 21 miles in length. Don't worry, the scenery makes up for all of this. Nestled in the Trinity alps this trail is not meant for the weak but the scenery is worth it. I took a dip in a pool to cool off once or twice before continue to trek to the campsite. Overall, a worthwhile trip to witness some majestic mountains.
